Uncle's 85th

We had my "Uncle Shorty's" 85th birthday party today. When we got there, we all hurried in in a line - me first, my sister Beckie, her kids, then Marty carrying Ezekiel. Uncle met us at the door with hugs. Of course, I get the first hug - he says "HI SHANA!", then he says "HI BECKIE!", then "HI Beckie's kids!" then he sees Ezekiel and you can tell that he sort of pauses and becomes VERY confused (age is catching up with him). He says "HI Shana!" to Ezekiel! He must have been thrown back into time thinking that I was still a little kid (even though he had just said 'hi' to adult me). It was sort of funny, but it made you understand how fast life really does go by.

Here's Marty and Ezekiel getting home after the birthday. You can tell Ezekiel had a good time by how tired he looks.

Here he is "sneaking" up on the camera with Daddy's help.

This pic is from last weekend's birthday party, but I thought it was sweet. Here is Ezekiel and Papa..doing what they both like to do best - harassing the kitty.
