Tonight, Ezekiel got his first taste of a real pear (he has had pears from a can and pear juice, but not a fresh pear). He is doing some fearsome teething right now, so the taste of the pear in combination with the texture really pleased him. Marty took a video of it because he was simply so cute
(ok, if you watch this video, you have to excuse the mess in the apartment - I'm cleaning out his room right now and everything is going to our storage unit..but in the meantime, it is all through our livingroom)

Just a couple of new ones
The other day, my mom and I decided to go shopping in Portland. We hadn't really planned ahead, so I figured I'd give Ezekiel a little cookie to "tide him over" until lunch. I was driving so I handed the cookie back, drove about a mile and went to Dunkin Donuts. While in the drive-through my mom started laughing and grabbed for her camera... Ezekiel was in the back seat proving how much he loves chocolate.

Last weekend, we have Kevin's 5th birthday party. Ezekiel decided to dress up :) (that is one of the twins behind him. they are both home from the hospital now!)

Another Reason to Hate Maine and Love Ezekiel
Today we had to take a trip to Augusta. Our whole day was planned with little time to dilly-dally. We got to Augusta, took care of business, and then headed back towards home. While on Western Ave, we hit this massive pot hole (thanks to this insane weather). We lost our hubcap, so Marty pulled into one of the dealerships and ran down the road (yes the road - ten foot snow bankings make it hard to find the sidewalk) to get it. He put it on the car and hollared for me to come out and look at the tire. There was a HUGE bubble on the front passenger tire. So I called my stepdad and asked him if it was ok to drive on. He said NO, get it changed or it can blow out at any time. So, we turned around (and promptly lost the hubcap again when we hit a different hole) and took the car to Sears. We had to have the tire replaced and it took FOREVER. While there, Ezekiel was being fiesty so I pulled out my cam and took a video. Our tire is now fixed, our day is now shot, and our hupcap is somewhere in front of Margarita's Restuarant. (if you find it, let us know).
