It feels like Ezekiel is growing into a little boy so quickly. He doesn't do these huge milestones all the time like when he was learning to sit up or learning to crawl; now it is the little things that you have to look for. For example, he just discovered that he has pockets. He puts his little hands in his pockets and walks around all tough-like. He will stop and look at you with his eyebrows raised as if to say "I know you are impressed". I've tried to take a video of it, but he sees the camera and starts hamming it up immediately.
He is pee-peeing all the time on the potty now. He has to stand up like Daddy does though. He actually has excellent aim (thank goodness) and then he dumps his potty out into the big toilet and cleans up after himself. It is super funny.
Here is Ezekiel and Shamus (his cousin):

Flip the t.v. on and both of them are immediately sucked in:

Having a baby over exhausts Ezekiel. I think he feels like his household-status is being threatened. After Shamus leaves, Ezekiel has constant temper tantrums and then in bed at night, he has nightmare after nightmare. My heart just breaks for him because as many times as I explain to him that no one can take the place of him, he still gets this nervous energy that takes a whole day to shake (he actually dry-washes his hands when Shamus is here). Here they both are though after I exhausted them with loads of play:

We went to the store the other day and Ezekiel was such a good boy that I told him he could have whatever he wanted. He didn't pick out toys... he picked out these rain boots - they have cows on them - and the candy necklace. He calls the boots his "cow boots" and insists on wearing them quite frequently.

Here he is being our bath time baby:

This is his favorite toy ever. It does not belong to him (he was at Mandy's playing with it) and we cannot find it anywhere.

He is all about dinosaurs right now. Or dino-roars as he calls them. Today we bought him a dinosaur encyclopedia that already he has spent about an hour looking at.
Yesterday, we had Angie's baby shower to go to. We really wanted to get Ezekiel a haircut (it gets a little old having your son constantly referred to as "that cute little girl"). We made a last minute appointment to have it done right before we had to be at Jeff's and Feather's. Here he is with his curls still in place:

As a chocolate-faced fishie:

My little guy:

And after the haircut.. I'm not really sure what I think of it. It takes some adjusting to because he looks so much like a little boy and not a baby:

At Angie's baby shower, his best friend Jazzie showed up. They are so hilarious together. Jazzie is 4, yet E. is bigger than she is. He simply loves her. They hold hands every where they go (if Jazzie starts to walk off without Ezekiel, he says "hey, hey, hands!!" and she comes back and grabs his hands. They will be playing together, and then they will just stop and hug each other or give each other a kiss. It is so, so sweet. I don't remember a time when Ezekiel had such a little friend that he got along with so well.
Here he is, going in for the kiss:

That's Ezekiel's little chubby arm - it is around Jazzie. The other arm is around Shamus.

Trying to impress by drinking out of a big kid cup (although, really, he prefers the regular cups to sippy cups):

Trying to get Byrum-the-Dog to come see them:

Pulling Jazzie along by the hand:

Ezekiel is not allowed soda to drink (or Dah as he calls it). Can't you tell?

And... he walks off with it to finish it later:

With so much sugar and soda running through his system, he starts getting a little rowdy. First, he attacks Feather from behind.

He's obviously pleased with himself:

Then he does a "walk by ripping" to "help" open gifts:

You can see the buzz slowly wearing off

HAHA, trying to escape from Uncle Jeff. He is looking at me as if to say 'please help'

Doesn't Angie look great? As Marty said "she looks so classicly 70s and so healthy"

Seriously? The cutest belly I've ever seen. It could be in magazines. **side note: Angie, if you hate this picture being up, I WILL erase it :)

Vinnie getting Angie giggling. I think it was about this time that Vin was trying out the various bibs:

Here's Nana with Ezekiel:

And Marty with Shamus:

And Angie walking into her baby shower:

Well, Marty is putting Ezekiel to nah-nights right now and I never get a break from doing that, so I'm off to go enjoy myself :)
